Looking for salad recipes...?

would love the recipe for the seven layer salads and differet pasta salads.Looking for salad recipes...?
we make a pasta salad that is easy and goes over huge whenever we bring it anywhere....


1lb pasta(i love rotini and the spinach flavored bowties)


4 plum tomatoes


1 cucumber


1 onion


1 brick cheddarjack cheese(or whatever your fave hard cheese is)-cut into 1 inch cubes


1 bottle caesar or italian dressing





boil and drain pasta, slice all veggies and add along with cubed cheese to pasta, toss with dressing and you are good to go..this is great for summer parties since it doesnt have mayo which many pasta salads have and is nto good for summertime outdoors(mayo+heat=bad)

Dressing:oil,vinigar,water seasoning Ratio 1:1:3
Pasta Salad





INGREDIENTS


3 cups fusilli pasta


3/4 cup broccoli florets


3/4 cup cauliflower florets


1/2 cup red onion, sliced


1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots


1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped


1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper


1/2 cup chopped mushrooms


1/2 cup chopped celery


3/4 cup light mayonnaise


1/4 cup distilled white vinegar


1/4 cup white sugar


salt and pepper to taste





DIRECTIONS


Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse pasta under cold water.


Place pasta in a large serving bowl add the all the vegetables and toss to combine.


Combine the mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar together, whisk until smooth. Pour over sled and mix well. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.

CHILI CUMIN BEAN SALAD


15OZ BLACK BEANS RINSE %26amp; DRAIN


15OZ PINTO BEANS RINSE %26amp; DRAIN


1 1/2 C CHOPPED RED ONION


1 C MINCED FRESH PARSLEY


1/2 C LIME JUICE


3 T OLIVE OIL


151/2 OZ HOMINYRINSE %26amp; DRAIN


2 1/2 t GROUND CUMIN


1 t BLACK PEPPER


1/2 t SALT


4 C CHOPPED TOMATOES


1/2 lb box cooked and drained pasta of choice





IN A LARGE BOWL COMBINE THE PASTA, TOMATOES, HOMINY, BEANS, ONION AND PARSLEY. IN A JAR WITH A TIGHT FITTING LID COMBINE THE REMAINING INGREDIENTS SHAKE WELL POUR OVER SALAD TOSS TO COAT REFRIGERATE AT LEAST 2 HOURS BEFORE SERVING YOU CAN ADD CHEESE AND CHICKEN TO MAKE IT MORE HEARTY
