Good recipes for pasta salad ?

I'm looking for a delicious salad to make for the 4th of July. Thanks in advance!Good recipes for pasta salad ?
My mother made this for all our summer parties (sometimes in winter too)

Spinach Pasta Salad

4 large tomato's

1 bunch fresh spinach

1lb bacon

2 packages tricolor rotini (2lbs Plain is ok but the tricolor looks nice)

2 16oz bottles buttermilk ranch dressing (regular ranch is ok but buttermilk makes the difference)

Wash and cut stems off spinach then dice, cook bacon until crisp then cut in 1 inch pieces. Boil and drain the Rotini

In a large bowl combine Pasta, bacon, spinach and ranch and stir. Cut tomato's into wedges and arrange on top of salad Cover with plastic wrap, refrigerate overnight.

this will serve about a dozen people and you will just have an empty bowl to bring home. Let me know how this worked if you try it.Good recipes for pasta salad ?
8 ounces rotini or other pasta

1/4 cup vegetable or olive oil

1/4 cup white vinegar

1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons McCormick® Seasoned Pepper Blend

1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick® Garlic Powder

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon McCormick® Italian Seasoning

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Onion Powder

1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves

1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Dill Weed

2 cups bite-size vegetables, such as bell pepper, tomatoes, onion, celery, cucumber, carrots, zucchini or broccoli

Mix all ingredients and enjoy. This has a few too many ingredients, I know. McCormick used to sell a packet of mix but the discontinued it so instead they provided this recipe. It truly is delicious!
This is unusual but very tasty. Cooled and drained pasta, whichever you prefer, one bottle of thousand island dressing mixed with one packet of taco seasoning mix. Add olives, green chili's, chili beans if you wish. I use onion, green pepper and fresh cilantro as well. mix all together chill and serve.
Different, fattening, but delicious and so easy:

Sauce: saute 1 tablespoon minced garlic in 2 tbsp. good olive oil for 30 sec.. Add 2 cups of heavy cream, juice of two lemons, zest of two lemons, 2 teaspoons kosher salt, 1 teaspoon freshly grated black pepper, bring to a boil, turn it down to a simmer and let it reduce for 15 minutes.

In the mean time, boil 1 lb. rotini pasta in salted water - when cooked, add to sauce (already reduced). Let pasta absorb sauce over low heat for 3 minutes, then add 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, halved cherry tomatoes and your choice of either torn arugula or a basil chiffonade. Good warm or room temp..

Lemony, delicious, and if you can keep from stuffing your face (hard!), not too bad for you!
Very simple recipe: Use one box of rotini noodles. Cook as directed. Add your favorite italian dressing. I like Henry's fat free Italian. Then add one diced cucumber, one diced tomato, and one diced green pepper. Mix it all together.

It's very simple and tastes great. Good luck.
i just prepare the tri-colored rotini then add a container of feta (i love feta cheese!!!), sliced black olives, chopped cucumbers and tomatoes and ken's caesar dressing (however much you prefer).
Asparagus Pesto Pasta Salad^_^
The Best Pasta Salad

Ingredients:

8 ounces rotini pasta (barilla is best)

1 large tomato (chopped)

1 medium green pepper (chopped)

1 medium red pepper (chopped)

1 can sliced black olives

1 small onion (chopped, if desired)

1/4 cup parmesan cheese

1 (8 ounce) bottle Kraft sun-dried tomato salad dressing

Steps:

1. Cook pasta according to directions, about 8 minutes.

2. stirring occasionally While pasta is cooking, chop tomato, peppers and onion into very small pieces.

3. Mix with drained olives.

4. Drain rotini and rinse with cold water for about 3 minutes.

5. Mix pasta with tomato, peppers, onion and olives.

6. Put in the refrigerator for about 1/2 an hour.

7. Add salad dressing and mix well.

8. Add parmesan cheese and mix well.

9. Serve immediately.

If you have left overs, You will have to ';re-wet'; it by adding a little more salad dressing the next day, especially if you substitute the dressing with a fat-free dressing.

Good luck and enjoy! =)

Mine may not be the best but its easy.

I always just used cooled cooked pasta, Italian dressing, about a 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes and about one green pepper.
