2 carrots
little cabbage
little cauliflower

little ginger
3-4 mint leaves

REALLY FANTASTIC IF UR DIETTING FOLLOW THIS REGULARLY AND U CAN REDUCE 5 KGS A MONTH!!!!!
All you need for a salad are some fresh local and in season ingredients. The other day I bought a locally grown cos lettuce, that is the tall one with the crunchy leaves. Add what ever else you can find, from tomatoes, black olives, oranges, peeled and segmented, raw mushrooms sliced, local beetroot dices, bacon, fried until crispy, garlic croutons, walnuts will go well along with pumpkin seeds.
Cauliflower and broccoli blanched and added make a good salad.
A decent olive oil will lift a dull selection, try walnut oil and the squeeze of orange juice. Fresh herbs chopped in at the last moment will dazzle.
The only thing that is stopping you is your imagination.

Someone brought this salad to a pot luck dinner and I had to have the recipe. I have made it many, many times since then and I have been asked for the recipe every time I bring it somewhere. It is also a great way to get kids to eat spinach
Spinach Strawberry Salad
INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon minced onion
10 ounces fresh spinach - rinsed, dried and torn into bite-size pieces
1 quart strawberries - cleaned, hulled and sliced
1/4 cup almonds, blanched and slivered
DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, whisk together the sesame seeds, poppy seeds, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and onion. Cover, and chill for one hour.
In a large bowl, combine the spinach, strawberries and almonds. Pour dressing over salad, and toss. Refrigerate 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
Any salad that is based on fish or chicken should be yummy and healthy. Here's a few of my favourites.
Try cubed fresh apple in your coleslaw
Add chopped spring onion and a little mustard to potato salad.
Make spicy mayo by adding a pinch of curry powder, a tad of crushed garlic and a teensy weensy bit of chili powder.(try it on hard boiled eggs)
Toss mixed leaves with vinaigrette, finely chopped frazzled bacon and cracked black peppercorns.
Hope these are useful.
Try the combination of mango and advocado on a bed of leaves. A health drizzle of olive oil. Also in the summer I add strwberries. Yum Yum in my Tum.
