In the spring time I love a spinach and strawberry salad with a raspberry vinaigrette (you can find a premade one at the grocery store, or mix it up yourself with oil, vinegar, and raspberry preserves). Sometimes some toasted slivered almonds or chopped walnuts are really good sprinkled on top. It's very simple, but good and full of iron, fiber, and vitamins. With the nuts on top, it's also got healthy fats in it as well.

Sliced cucumber salad with thinly sliced red onions is good, too. I like a light vinaigrette on it and let it sit in the fridge so the flavors can meld.I want to start eating more salads anyone have anygood salad recipes?

good site
I like to use spring mix and add some baby spinach, then add veggies whatever I have in the fridge and as much as I can(broc, cauliflower, carrots, celery, etc.)Cheese too, preferable something crumbly, feta, blue, gorganzola not alot though just enough. Sometimes meat is good, like a good baked turkey but not the deli kind it needs to be fresh, or ham, roast beef, etc. Croutons and bacon bits are good too. Hard boiled eggs. Putting some nuts in it makes them really tasty, I use sunflower seeds, walnuts, almonds, these are all non salted. Dressing anything from ranch to a raspberry vinaigrette work what ever your taste is. Just open your fridge and get creative have fun with it and play around and see what taste good to you and your taste buds.
Fresh Green Leaves Salad of your liking, tossed with either Chicken (Grilled or Roasted), Turkey (Boiled or Baked), or Shrimp.

With vegetables of either or all Snow Peas, Corn, Cherry Tomato, Carrot, Baby Corn, Olives (Green or Black), Onion, Beets, eggs or any other vegetable you like.

Salad Dressing, (light or regular), Ranch, Italian, Thousand Island (Russian) or which ever one you like.

This worked for me and I am happy.

Good Luck and eat well.

I love this salad...Spinach Clementine Salad

As much fresh baby spinach as you like, clementines or cut up fresh oranges, and honey roasted peanuts.

For the dressing, combine honey with orange juice. Only about 3 teaspoons of honey with 3 tablespoons of orange juice. This is just an estimate on mixing the dressing. You can make it to your personal taste and desired thickness.

It's very healthy, naturally sweet, and delicious.
I've seen Rachel Ray just open the fridge and start putting leftovers in. I always think cranberries, mandarin oranges, olives, little extras like that, add to any routine salad.
