2 cans peas drained


1/2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese


diced dill pickle


diced onion


mayonnaise


celery salt





mix all together using enough mayo to suit your taste. Easy on the celery salt a little goes a long ways.Do you have any Pea Salad Recipes?

Pea Salad





INGREDIENTS:


8 eggs


8 slices bacon (optional)


2 heads romaine lettuce - rinsed, dried, and torn into bite-size pieces


1 (16 ounce) package frozen green peas


2 cups mayonnaise


1/8 cup skim milk


3 tablespoons white sugar


3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS:


Place eggs in a saucepan, and cover completely with cold water. Bring water to a boil for one minute. Cover, remove from heat, and let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from hot water, and cool. Peel. Slice egg with an egg slicer, or just crumble.


Place bacon in a large skillet. Cook, turning frequently, over medium high heat until evenly browned.


Spread Romaine lettuce evenly over the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer crumbled bacon, thawed peas, and eggs over the lettuce.


In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, milk, and sugar until smooth. Pour evenly over salad, and top with cheese. Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Serve.

INGREDIENTS:


8 slices bacon


1 (10 ounce) package frozen green peas, thawed and drained


1/2 cup chopped celery


1/2 cup chopped green onions


2/3 cup sour cream


1 cup chopped cashews


salt and pepper to taste


DIRECTIONS:


Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.


In a medium bowl, combine peas, celery, scallions and sour cream. Toss gently to mix.


Just before serving, stir in cashews and bacon into salad. Season with salt and pepper.
1 large pkg of peas, thawed %26amp; drained. Add 1 med red onion diced, 1 pkg grated sharp cheddar cheese %26amp; enough mayo to mix all together. Chill at least 2 hours before serving
Creamy Pea Salad

2 pkgs. (16 oz frozen peas, thawed


1/2 cup diced cheddar cheese


1/2 cup diced mozzarella cheese


1 medium onion, chopped


1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing


salt %26amp; pepper to taste


4 bacon strips,cooked and crumbled


In a bowl, combine the peas, cheeses, onion, mayonnaise, salt and pepper: mix well. Refrigerate until serving. Sprinkle with bacon
Deli Pea Salad


1 can sweet peas


1/4 cup celery, sliced very thin


2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish


1/4 lb. chunk american or cheddar cheese, diced (optional)


1 hard boiled egg, minced (optional)


1 cup miracle whip


1 tsp. prepared yellow mustard


dash of celery seed


1-2 tbsp. water





In bowl, combine miracle whip, mustard, celery seed, and water, mix well. Add peas, celery, relish, egg and cheese. Mix well and refrigerate at least 2 hours to overnight before serving.
Prince of Peas Salad





1/2 cup mayonnaise





1/3 cup sour cream





1/4 finely minced onion





3/4 tsp sugar





pinch of salt





4 cups fresh baby peas - OR - 2 (10 oz) packages frozen baby peas, thawed but uncooked





6 oz cubed cheddar cheese





4 or 5 crisp bacon slices, crumbled





Whisk together mayonnaise and sour cream in a small bowl. Add onion, sugar, and salt.





Stir together peas, cheese, and bacon in a large bowl. Spoon on mayonnaise mixture and toss lightly until combined. Add more sugar or salt to taste if desired.





Refrigerate 1/2 to 12 hours before serving.





Pea Salad


1 10 oz. package frozen baby peas, thawed





1 C. chopped cauliflower





1/4 C. diced green onions





1 C. diced celery





1 C. chopped cashews





1/2 C. sour cream





1 C. diced cheese in small pieces





1 C. prepared Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing





bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)





Combine all ingredients. Chill. Garnish with crisp crumbled bacon just before serving, if desired.
